Beliefs and Opinion

Beliefs and Opinions. What are they and how do you get them? Well to be honest it's all delusion. That's right, all opinions and beliefs are delusions. A Buddhist teacher once said, we do not have the right to believe what we want to believe. This is 100% True. We do not. Beliefs infringe upon the rights of others and beliefs and opionions are all delusion. People believe they can violate the rights of others because they do not act and behave the way they expect them to. There is only one Person who knows how people should behave, and that is God. Saints and Buddhas allow people to behave the way they wish. They do not try to control them. They allow people to behave as they wish and let God adjust their behaviour IF necessary. Remember God works in mysterious ways.
When we allow, and stop believing we will see our opinions as just that, opinions, and not facts at all. If we are to live according to our True Selves, Our Greater Self, we must stick with the facts. We must all learn to be increasingly factual in our speech. If we speak our beliefs and opinions, then we are not speaking the facts. The Facts are not beliefs and opinions. They are True.
Delusion is delusion, it is a wrong belief. There are less than a dozen people on this planet who are not deluded, this is changing, but we must stay alert and watch our own minds. This may come as a shock to you, or perhaps it goes right over your head. The only way to get rid of delusion is to contact the Divine and how many people do you know who have Divine Consciousness? Divinity gets rid of delusion - it annihilates it.
Facts are necessary to have a basis for Truth. Facts like reincarnation, karma, Truth and Love and the complete story regarding them.
All beliefs create problems, mostly for others, we may believe we have the right to do what we want to other people but we do not. A belief is dangerous. Do not endanger others with your beliefs. Stick to the facts. You may need to Seek in order to Find the Facts. So Seek on, my friends!

  1. Thank you for this post.

I wanted to add my "opinion" that God's purpose for us is our unified ultimate purpose to be able to love and be loved regardless of what's happening in this physical state of being.

God did create us as the One Being that reflected Unconditional Love, and the belief that God created this Universe may not be as valid as western religions and many cultures' creation myths teach.

Many native peoples believe a Great Spirit as an animal relative to their tribe or culture created the world and man was just another aspect of the world. Western religions teach that God made the world in 6 days and rested on the 7th and that man was created in their image.

We are all the one Great Spirit having a delusion that we're separate. Knowing it's an illusion doesn't lessen the experience but mindful meditation, mantras of relaxation and forgiving others (which benefits the one forgiving) help to undo the judgments we place on the physical world.

And yes God gave us the power to undo this illusion through the free will of choosing God's Will, God's Mind, God's Spirit God's Peace, and God's Love that is our true authentic Self.

Love is unconditional when we accept all actions from all beings and events as being a reflection of how we see the world. Changing the world doesn't happen outside of self, rather it's the internal change of accepting all things as a reflection of love, regardless of it's physical manifestation.

One noted Master of this was Yeshua aka Jesus who merged with his Authentic Self (some would call it the Holy Spirit or just Spirit) and was able to forgive even his death as being an illusion or unreal. His message wasn't absorbing others sins but rather to forgive the judgment that sin is an option versus choosing God's Love.

If you look at the fanatics of any belief system or religion, you will see that they will heartily defend their position because they believe they are right and everyone else is wrong.

If everyone is right, then how can anyone be wrong? Being right can only work if you believe in separation. Naturally, our labeling of all things physical (including moments, places, emotions, events) are all reinforcing our collective belief that we're separate from our Source, Love/God. Even the illusion that a special person, day or place is better than any other reinforces our separate but unequal belief.

The world is Maya, pure illusion; a construct of our insecurities and our unconscious belief that God needs to punish us.

Western dogma teaches salvation through renouncing sin/the devil/evil, and converting others to the same belief system.

Buddhists believe life is suffering and releasing desire will release you from the wheel of reincarnation otherwise, you are returning life after life to repeat that suffering.

Tibetan Buddhists have a belief that when you die, your atma merges with the One True Atma and if the smaller atma hasn't completely released desire or forgiven itself from impurity, then it returns to another incarnation.

My truth is to change how I see the world so that we're all one with the One Spirit.

As I've incorporated Buddhist, Kriya Yoga, Mystical Christianity, Shamanism, Animism, Taoism, Druidism, A Course In Miracles, the Vedanta and Sufism, I'm noticed more and more people are becoming unified in thought.

How we get there is as individual as our personalities, but knowing we're all ending up at the same place (One Mind/Will/Spirit can only be One) is enough to keep me going.

    Namaste-ji.

  2. So true Beliefs are to be exposed for what they are. If a belief is true toss it away and it will come back.
